About me
Training, experience, and professional grounding
I’m Anna Hunn, an accredited integrative psychotherapist offering therapy for children, adolescents, adults and parents in the heart of Bedford.
People find me warm, kind and someone with a strong sense of integrity. Being part of people’s journeys through struggle and change has been my passion since a young age. Spiritually, I come from a place of deep connection with humanity and the rest of the natural world.
My training and experience
Professional background
I hold two main qualifications that prepare me for clinical work: MA in Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and MA in Applied Psychology.
As an UKCP-accredited psychotherapist I adhere to their Code of Ethics and Professional Practice, which includes continuing professional development.
I have over 25 years of experience working with vulnerable individuals and families across care, health, and education settings. I have worked in a Children’s Home, a family assessment centre, mother & baby units, a psychiatric hospital, a number of schools, from primary to sixth form, and a demanding NHS service.
I also have experience in clinical management, supervision and academic tutoring. I have created and facilitated workshops, classes, and group therapy.
I hold a current DBS certificate and professional indemnity insurance. I regularly attend safeguarding training for both children and adults.
I am Polish and have lived in the UK since 2003. I practice in both languages.
